What is Outpatient treatment?

Outpatient care is a medical service that does not require an overnight stay at the hospital or medical facility. Routine checkups or visits are examples of Outpatient treatment. This can include minor surgical treatments as long as the patient is allowed to leave the hospital or medical facility on the same day.

Please refer to the policy wording, as the definition may vary for each health insurance provider.
