Can I terminate the policy before the end of the policy year?

Yes, you may terminate your policy before the end of the policy year, specifically in the event of relocation.

How to cancel my policy?

To proceed with cancellation, please send the below documents to cs@lumahealth.com.

• Completed cancellation form
• First page of the policyholder's bank book 
• A photo of destroyed member card(s) if any

Refund considerations

Upon receiving your cancellation request and supporting documents, we will assess your eligibility for a refund on the unused portion of your insurance premium. We will calculate based on the policy terms and conditions. 

Please note that the amount of any claims that have already occurred under the policy could be deducted from any potential refund amount. 

Free-look period?

For certain policies, a "free-look period" is provided. This is a short timeframe based on the policy wording after you receive your insurance policy documents, during which you have the option to return the policy and receive a full refund of the premium you have paid. This is applicable only if no claims have been made against the policy during this free-look period.
