Renew Policy

Your policy is renewable in accordance with the terms and conditions of the policy wording. You will receive your renewal notification 30 days prior to your renewal date.

At the time of renewal, you have the opportunity to make changes to your current plan to better suit your evolving needs. For more information on how to make changes, please refer to the "Change plan details" section of your Member Guide or contact your health insurance consultant.

It's important to ensure your premium is paid on time to maintain continuous coverage.

Understanding the Grace Period

We understand that sometimes things happen. Therefore, a 30-day grace period is provided starting from your policy's renewal date.
While your policy is in the grace period, you will not have access to LUMA's direct billing services. This means you will need to pay for any medical expenses upfront and then submit claims for review and reimbursement.

If your renewal payment is received within the grace period, your policy can be re-instated.

Policy Termination Due to Non-Payment

If your premium remains unpaid by the end of the 30-day grace period, your medical coverage will be terminated on the original renewal date and claims paid during the grace period (if any) will be recovered.

Reapplying for Coverage After Termination

If your policy has terminated due to non-payment and you later decide you wish to have LUMA coverage again, you will need to submit a new application. Please be aware that any health conditions that developed before, including those that were covered under your previous policy, will be considered pre-existing conditions and may not be covered under the new policy.
