# Payment of Premiums

### Initial Premium for New Policies

To activate your LUMA coverage, the premium payment is required before the policy's start date.

 

### Premium for Adding Dependents

When you add a dependent to your existing LUMA policy, the corresponding premium must be settled before the dependent's coverage start date.

For more information, please refer to the "**How to Add a Family Member (Dependent) to Your Policy**" section of your Member Guide or contact your health insurance consultant.

 

### Renewal Premium Payments

You will receive a renewal notification 30 days prior to your current policy's end date. To ensure continuous coverage without any lapse, the renewal premium should be made before your current policy expires.

For more information regarding Renewing your Policy, please refer to the "**Renew Policy**" section of your Member Guide or contact your health insurance consultant.
